The Norwegian Association for Post Conflict Development is a civil society organization working on peacebuilding, post-conflict recovery, and inclusive development through advocacy, dialogue, and international cooperation.

About Us

The Norwegian Association for Post Conflict Development is an independent, non-profit civil society organization based in Norway.

The Association works to support peacebuilding, post-conflict recovery, and inclusive development through dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and engagement with civil society and international stakeholders.

Our focus is on promoting locally informed, ethical, and sustainable approaches to post-conflict development, with particular attention to the role of civil society, institutions, and cross-sector collaboration.

The Norwegian Association for Post Conflict Development cooperates with the Foundation for Post Conflict Development (FPCD) and other international and national partners on shared thematic priorities, while operating as a separate and independent legal entity.

The Association engages with international organizations, academic institutions, and non-governmental partners to contribute to policy discussions, research, and advocacy related to peace and post-conflict development.

The Norwegian Association for Post Conflict Development operates on a non-profit basis and is committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible engagement in all its activities.

Activeties

Policy Dialogue and Institutional Engagement

Engagement with international and regional institutions, civil society platforms, and policy processes related to peacebuilding, post-conflict recovery, and inclusive development. This includes participation in conferences, consultations, and multistakeholder forums.

Research, Analysis, and Knowledge-Sharing

Contribution to research, analysis, and knowledge-sharing on peacebuilding and post-conflict development, including the preparation of briefs, written contributions, and participation in academic and practitioner-oriented discussions.

Civil Society Cooperation and Advocacy

Collaboration with civil society organizations, academic institutions, and non-governmental partners to support inclusive dialogue, raise awareness, and strengthen civil society engagement in post-conflict and peacebuilding processes.

Our work

The Norwegian Association for Post Conflict Development engages in collaboration with civil society organizations, academic institutions, and non-governmental partners to support inclusive dialogue, raise awareness, and strengthen civil society engagement in post-conflict and peacebuilding processes. This engagement has included participation in civil society organization (CSO) meetings linked to the United Nations, G7 processes, and the World Bank Group.
